The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Tuesday reacted to the remark by the Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige urging people of Ekiti State to vote for the incumbent Governor of the State, Ayodele Fayose during the Saturday’s governorship election.
Ngige had mistakenly urged people of the state to vote for Fayose during the Saturday’s election.
The Minister said this during the grand finale of APC governorship rally in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital
The statement reads partly, “We are however not surprised at the remarks by the Minister of Labour, Senator Chris Ngige, who, in sub-conscious sincerity, advised the people of Ekiti state to reject the APC candidate and endorsed the PDP-led administration of Governor Ayo Fayose.
However APC guber candidate has accused Fayemi has accused Ngige of been such a betrayal and a blackship for collecting million to sale him out. Serious trouble and fighting occurred immediately after the rally as Fayemi was seen crying in anger say he has evidence that Ngige collected money from PDP….
